Terms of Service

Effective July 16, 2026

1. Agreement

By downloading or using CardOps (the "App"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App. The App is provided by Andre Havasi ("we", "us"). Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to App Store downloads; if it conflicts with these terms, these terms govern to the extent permitted.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

CardOps Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase, billed through your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device Settings under your Apple account. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.

4. Price data is informational

Market prices, sold-listing data, and price history shown in the App are aggregated from third-party sources, can be delayed or inaccurate, and are provided for reference only. They are not appraisals, valuations, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for the prices you set, the deals you make, and any business or tax decisions you take based on data in the App.

5. AI-generated content

Some features (including Deal Brain verdicts, condition and grade estimates, report summaries, and portfolio answers) are generated by artificial-intelligence models. AI output is an automated estimate that can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent. A grade estimate is not a professional grading opinion and does not predict what PSA, CGC, Beckett, or any grading company will assign; a Deal Brain verdict is not a recommendation to buy or sell. Verify anything that matters before acting on it.

6. Creator codes

Entering a creator's referral code is optional. It never changes what you pay; it directs a share of revenue we receive from your subscription to the creator whose code you entered. One code per user; the first code entered stays attached and cannot be transferred. We may modify or end the creator program at any time, which does not affect your subscription.

7. Third-party data sources

Catalog, pricing, sold-listing, and graded-price data are supplied by third-party providers. Providers, coverage, and update frequency may change, and any data source may become unavailable, in whole or in part, without notice. We may modify, substitute, or discontinue server-provided features that depend on third-party data. Third-party marks appearing in data (set names, marketplace names, grading-company names) belong to their owners.

8. Your data and responsibilities

Your inventory, sales, and business records are stored on your device and in your private iCloud (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for maintaining backups (e.g. via iCloud sync or a Pro CSV export) and for the accuracy of records you keep for tax or legal purposes.

9. Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer the App except as permitted by law, abuse or overload our servers, scrape or bulk-extract data served to the App, resell or redistribute data from the App, or use the App for anything unlawful.

10. Intellectual property

Card names, set names, and card artwork belong to their respective publishers and rights holders. Pokémon and Pokémon card names are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., and The Pokémon Company. CardOps is an independent tool and is not produced by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any trading-card publisher, marketplace, or grading company.

11. Disclaimer of warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that price data will be accurate, or that AI-generated content will be correct.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the App, including decisions made in reliance on price data or AI-generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or end access to server-provided features (such as price data, AI features, and creator codes) if you violate these terms. You can stop using the App at any time; sections 4, 5, 11, and 12 survive termination.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located there, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version will always be posted at this address with its effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
